"All my portfolios are printed on Entrada. It's necessary that each print stands alone as a piece of art, and it's because of Entrada's weight and feel that my portfolio stands out from the rest."
Carrie,
We haven’t made any changes to Entrada- there was a production run recently that was a bit smoother than our normal spec, and it sounds like that is the paper you have.
I began using MOAB Entrada Rag Natural 300 for my giclee reproductions a couple of years ago, and have been really happy with it; I like the texture and the weight. However, I recently opened a new box and discovered the texture was much smoother. I title/number/sign my prints with a mechanical pencil, and when I began writing on the new ones, the smoother, waxier coating would barely accept the lead and I wound up with text that's hard to read.
Has there been a change in the manufacturing of this paper, or did I get an odd batch?
