Moab Support Forum > Printing on Artist Cards with Epson P900

Product: Artist Cards 5 1/2" x 7 3/8" heavy

I am having difficulties getting these cards to print correctly with my Epson P900. The image is shifted to the left. I am printing using Lightroom. It looks fine in Lightroom, centered on the card using your template, but every print comes out shifted to the left, with the left side of the image cut off. I did see that the Epson manual states a minimum page width of 8.27", which these cards are not. I tried rotating the cards lengthwise, but then the printing rotated, as well. How can I get this to work?

You might have a look at this tut I wrote a couple of years ago for the SC 4900. Same kind of issue.

FYI, the email I got on my reply to this post was all Asian characters. Not sure what THAT’S about!

James, thanks for the prompt response. It would have been nice to receive a response from Moab Paper, since they directed all technical questions here, but I guess not ...

Anyway, after some trial and error, I have been able to get it to print properly without any further monkeying around by inserting the paper horizontally, and swapping the paper dimensions both in Lightroom Print module, and on the printer.

Generally layout issues are caused by the default margins in the printer driver- Lightroom does not center on the page size, but within those default margins. It is best to set the margins of your custom paper size to 0" and work in from there to avoid the issue. We have a recorded webinar covering this setup in detail:
