"All my portfolios are printed on Entrada. It's necessary that each print stands alone as a piece of art, and it's because of Entrada's weight and feel that my portfolio stands out from the rest."
The Desert Varnish should do well with the kozo, and help protect the surface. I’d recommend 2 coats, applied perpendicular (apply the first coat, rotate the sheet 90 degrees and apply the 2nd coat). The velvet surface of the Kozo will likely not be scratch-proof, but it should be more durable.
I wonder if you recommend using Desert Varnish on your Moenkopi Washi Kozo? I am printing with lots of black on it--really beautiful--but scuffs easily. Will Desert Varnish help that? Any tips?
