Moab Support Forum > green tint with Entrada on a Pro-4000
If you soft-proof the file with both profiles is the green tint visible on screen or just in the print?
Have you recently color-calibrated your PRO-4000? This is a maintenance step to perform on a regular basis to keep the printhead output consistent. We have instructions on the process here:

I'd also recommend making a print using Canon's Professional Print & Layout software to bypass any application or OS color management.

I will try these steps and respond. Is there a reason your tutorial insists on glossy paper for calibration? The pro4000 manual doesn’t mention this.

The Canon glossy paper is used during the factory calibration on these printers, so it is the best media for the color calibration. We don't know why Canon continues to ship smooth matte paper with these machines instead of the gloss.

I got the proper paper and calibrated both printers. The pro-4000 puts a pretty harsh green tint on the prints while the ip49400 prints accurately. Not as bad, but the two side by side look very different. The ipf9400 uses the Fine Art HW photo profile while the pro4000 uses the Heavyweight Art Paper profile.

I am getting a green tint with black and white photos on my Pro-4000 with Entrada Bright. Works fine on my ipf9400. Ideas?
