Hi there
I’ve recently just purchased a canon pixma pro 200 and have downloaded the ICC file for the Somerset Enhanced velvet paper- I’ve noticed this download isn’t a ‘profile’ but a media file. Does this mean it’s not a true ICC profile. My colours on this aren’t coming out as I would have hoped. Appreciate any guidance or advice thank you 🙏🏻

The Somerset Velvet download zip file includes both an ICC profile and a Canon custom media (am1x) file. This is because the Velvet uses a lower ink load than any of the default Canon media settings. The ICC profile will be installed normally, depending if you're using PC or Mac. The custom media file requires Canon's Media Configuration Tool to install. Installation instructions are available here:
