"All my portfolios are printed on Entrada. It's necessary that each print stands alone as a piece of art, and it's because of Entrada's weight and feel that my portfolio stands out from the rest."
Andy,
We have Entrada profiles posted for the 1430 on our ICC download page- click on 'ICC Profiles' in the bar above this page. For the Kayenta Matte I'd recommend testing the Lasal Photo Matte profile. Both Entrada and Lasal profiles use Epson's Ultra Premium Presentation Paper Matte media setting.
I have an Epson Artisan 1430 printer and I'm using the Photoshop printer driver. I'm printing on Kayenta Photo Matte paper (I know it's no longer made but I'm using up the stock I have. I also print on Entrada Rag Bright 300 paper. Since the Photoshop driver doesn't use specific ICC profiles I've been using the Premium Presentation Paper Matte Profile and the Artisan 1430 SP 1430 Matte Paper-HW Profile - these seem like the closet match. The results are OK but I'm not entirely happy with the print out. Question 1: Can you recommend another profile(s) that would be a better match? Question 2: Is there another printer driver (maybe 3rd party) that I could use for my 1430 that more specifically uses MOAB ICC profiles?
