"All my portfolios are printed on Entrada. It's necessary that each print stands alone as a piece of art, and it's because of Entrada's weight and feel that my portfolio stands out from the rest."
Yes, using the same settings your 'test image' and photographs should print with the same accuracy, so likely there is a setting or other difference somewhere in the settings.
After selecting the ICC profile in Photoshop you then need to select the matching media setting in the Epson print settings. These media settings are listed on our ICC download page. If you are printing from Windows you also need to disable Epson color matching as well.
Are your test prints on the same paper between the two images?
Just got a new P900 and when I print test prints using the standard "kids and strawberry image", my colors are amazing and almost perfect to my monitor calibration. However when I print my own images they are slightly more washed out, need a contrast boost, and the color are a bit off. This is using all the same settings with the correct ICC profiles for paper, bit depth, color space... everything is set the same between the two images. If the test image prints perfectly, shouldn't my image print with the same accuracy? Also, in the print dialouge in Photoshop I can enter the Moab ICC profile for my selected paper, but I can't enter it in the Epson print settings so what do I choose or does it not matter once I sert the profile in photoshop? Thanks!
