"All my portfolios are printed on Entrada. It's necessary that each print stands alone as a piece of art, and it's because of Entrada's weight and feel that my portfolio stands out from the rest."
We recommend any of the Entrada papers for encaustic process. The Bright and Natural sheets are all double-sided, and available in 190gsm and 300gsm. The Textured is single-sided.
Trying to find out which Moab paper would work well with my process--which is using pigment digital prints and then dipping them in encaustic. The encaustic gives the photo a beautiful translucence. I usually use Japanese rice paper, but I'm looking for something a little bit more substantial since I'd like to bind the photos as a small book.
Any ideas? It would have to be a matte paper to absorb the wax.
