Moab Support Forum > Issues with Lasal

When printing on Lasal Photo Matte the prints look washed out or the shadows are real dark with no detail. My setup is: iMac; Photoshop; Canon Pro-1. The ICC profile was down loaded from your site. I've tried different photoshop print settings.

It sounds like your rendering intent may be causing the issue- if you are printing with relative colorimetric make sure to check the box for black point compensation. If it is not selected your shadows will be darker than the screen, and print with less detail. Also, if you are using relative colorimetric with Canon's Print Studio Pro there is no black point compensation, so with PSP we always recommend perceptual rendering.
