Moab Support Forum > ICC Profiles for Moab Artist Cards

Folks: I just watched the Youtube video on using these cards; thanks for that, Evan and Mark. I am using Entradalopes, but I'm potentially interested in using Artist Cards. However, I'm puzzled on a couple fronts:
**What Moab paper type, if any, applies to these cards? When I follow the link on the Artist Card product listing to ICC Profiles, the options I see are only for Moab paper types, with no special entry for Artist Cards
**I think I saw some sign of a special ICC Profile for Artist Cards somewhere in a video, but I'm at a loss on where to find it (if it exists and if it's not the case that some Moab paper type profile is used for these cards.

Thanks.

Mark,
For all printers that support artist card printing we have both an ICC profile and media setting listed on the profile download page. Generally for Canon printers the media setting is Matte Photo Paper, and for Epson printers it is Ultra Premium Presentation Matte. All the card sheets are smaller than 8x10, so they can't be printed on 24/44 inch printers.

Thanks, Moab Paper Support (Evan, I presume?).

I was indeed looking for an Artist Card profile in the context of my Canon PRO-4000, not remembering that it wouldn't make sense for that media to be listed there, given its size. And now when I looked for that profile in connection with my Epson 3880, there it was!

One more small thing: I assume that the intended folding direction for these cards (and definitely the one I've been using) is to fold so that the indented side of the score line is on the inside of the folded card. Right? I've had some printmakers (in other contexts) recommended folding so that the indented side of the score line is on the outside.

I have had good results folding the cards both ways, so I'd recommend testing to see if one orientation works better for you.

Excellent. I'll try the other way, as well. Thanks!
