"All my portfolios are printed on Entrada. It's necessary that each print stands alone as a piece of art, and it's because of Entrada's weight and feel that my portfolio stands out from the rest."
Media type may need to be set to roll rather than sheet.
Interesting so even though I’m not using roll I’m using sheets and not feeding in like some fine art papers need to, I’m top loading, that might making settings come up. Kinda weird if your not using the rolls but that’s the only thing I didn’t try. Which wouldn’t matter actually cause I’m using sheet. A little thinking out loud. Lol. Thanks for your suggestion.
Ok figured it out. I’m printing test prints on 5x7 size. When I switch to a larger size it goes the option to choose front loading instead of sheet and once I pick front load for fine art paper it makes the selection available to choose the fine art paper settings like the ultra smooth fine art for the Entrada Rag Texture. Problem solved.
What I'm using:
iMac running OS Catalina
Epson SC P800
Entrada Rag Textured
Trying to print an image in Photoshop Print Settings, using latest PS. I know this is a Matte Paper so printer is set to use Matte Black, Color Handling I'm setting at Photoshop Manages Colors and choosing the correct ICC Profile by Moab for the Entrada Rag Textured. In The Print Setting dialogue box I'm going to the Print Setting Drop Down Menu, Under Basic when I chose Fine Art, my drop down is all grayed out. I've tried every possible configuration that I know of to get those items to not be grayed out so I can use the Ultra Smooth Fine Art setting to print on the paper. Since I can not get this to work is there another setting I can use for the Media Type for this paper? Or I'm I missing something to get that menu of media types to work for Fine Art
