Moab Support Forum > Juniper Baryta ICC for Mac not good?
Scott,
Sorry you’re having issues printing on the Juniper. We don’t have a P7000 here in the office to test, but looking at the soft proof in Photoshop, I’m not seeing any color shifts in a color or black and white image. If you soft-proof the image how does it compare to the print?
We have been getting reports of color management issues with MacOS Catalina and Adobe Photoshop v21, what software are you currently using?

Thanks for getting back to me. I am using MacOS Catalina and trying to print out of Lightroom 9.2.1. Soft proof in LR looks good. Since this episode I have removed duplicate profiles from Library/Color Sync/Profiles. Reprinting the same images with the Juniper Baryta profile yields much better results. We will see if this holds. Thanks.

I was going to ask about this also. Printing on Canon Pro 100 using the Juniper and it has a blue tone to it. Calibrated the screen, checked nozzles, profiles and everything is as should and as soon as it prints not even close. on Mac Catalina 10.15.4 if you an help. thanks

Eddie,
There have been a lot of color management issues with Catalina and Adobe programs, often a blue tone is the result. If you soft proof your image with the Juniper profile, my guess is that you don't see the blue shift. Check Adobe and Apple for any software updates, we have heard from customers that some of these issues are being resolved with the most recent updates.

The Mac ICC profile for Juniper Baryta Rag seems way off. I am using a color managed work flow with recently color calibrated monitors. I have lots of printing experience. My Mac prints to an Epson P7000 printer. Prints from this workflow are missing warm colors such as magenta, orange, yellow. (No, I don't have any clogged jets). Other papers and profiles are spot on. In fact if I use the Epson Legacy Baryta profile I get nearly acceptable prints. I like the paper very much. I don't like the profile. Thanks for your help.
