"All my portfolios are printed on Entrada. It's necessary that each print stands alone as a piece of art, and it's because of Entrada's weight and feel that my portfolio stands out from the rest."
Some Slickrock Silver sheets do have a curl out of the box due to the foil and paper layers reacting differently to humidity and temperature. The best way to fix this is to gently curl the corners of the sheet prior to loading it in the printer. You’ll want to wear gloves so you don’t leave fingerprints on the print surface. Curl opposite corners toward each other and hold for a few seconds. If you set the sheet on a a flat surface and the curl has been removed, then load the sheet. Otherwise, back-roll it again prior to printing.

I purchased a package of Slickrock Metallic Silver 300 in 11x14, and when I went to print on my Canon Pro-100, the paper had a fairly prominent curl to it, resulting in the print head dragging on the edges of the paper on both the leading edge of the print as well as the trailing edge of the print. This left streaks on the print edges and I'm also concerned about potential damage to the print head. Is this normal for the paper to have so much curl to it? If so, is there a way to store or treat the paper to flatten it?
