Moab Support Forum > moab juniper baryta rag
The Juniper Baryta has a shiny/semigloss side, which is the print side. The matte/cotton side is the back of the paper. All our packaging is labeled with either a 'print this side' sticker or (if it is a double-sided paper) a 'print both sides' sticker. If possible, just remove the sheets you need for printing from the bag and leave the rest so you'll always have a reference and know which side to print on.
Hello, can anyone describe the differences between Moab Juniper vs exhibition luster? Is the finish noticeably different?
The Juniper has a slight fiber texture to it's surface giving it a bit of character compared to the overall even surface on the Exhibition Luster. The Juniper best replicates the old wet room silver halide Fiber F cotton papers, whereas the Exhibition luster mimics the traditional e-surface RC paper.
Which Media Type should be used for Juniper Baryta when printing on an Epson 3880? "Ultra Premium Photo Paper Luster" or "Legacy Baryta"?
For Juniper on the 3880 the media setting is Premium Luster. All media settings are listed on our ICC download page- once you have selected your printer the media settings will be listed in the center column of the chart.
Is it possible to print text on the back side of Moab Juniper Baryta Rag? I'm making Christmas cards and wish to print a message on the back side.
Thanks
Although the reverse side of the paper is not treated with an inkjet-receptive coating, one can print on the back side. It won't hold the same resolution as the coated side. Run some testes beforehand to see how your printer works.
this may be a silly question, but what side of moab juniper baryta rag do i print on?
