Moab Support Forum > moenkopi unryu paper roll loading problem

When loading roll of Moenkopi Unryu paper into Canon IPF 9400 printer the paper is bunching up and printer stops; saying it is jammed. This is the middle of the roll. First half of the roll printed o.k.

Hi Madeline,

Since the Unryu is very delicate, you might want to try making the platen gap wider. I know it seems counter-intuitive, but the texture of the unryu can make the paper pull in the printer.

Good luck!

Is the paper getting stuck inside the printer on the platen, or before it enters from the roll? If it is binding up inside on the platen, you could try reducing the suction one level. Also, if the first half of the roll printed properly, check the inside of the printer for any paper debris that could be interfering with the paper path.
