"All my portfolios are printed on Entrada. It's necessary that each print stands alone as a piece of art, and it's because of Entrada's weight and feel that my portfolio stands out from the rest."
To double-check how the profile looks with your image, start with a soft proof in Lightroom or Photoshop.
In the Develop module in Lightroom, click the 'Soft Proofing' check box under the bottom left corner of the image window. Then select the Moab paper profile under the histogram in the upper right. If your colors appear accurate, there is likely an incorrect print setting.
For the P800, the Entrada Rag Bright profile uses Ultra Premium Presentation Matte as the media setting. For Entrada Rag Natural, there are two profiles, one using Ultra Premium Presentation Matte for the media setting, the other using Ultrasmooth Fine Art. You can tell the difference as the profiles have the media setting initials included at the end of the name; either UPPM or USFA.
I followed the instructions to download and install both profiles.
I am printing from PS CC and Lightroom CC.
Anytime I try to use the either profile on both pieces of software the print comes out dark and very magenta.
I am pretty sure I am using the correct settings for the print interface. If I use the option to let the printer manage color the prints come out fine. I really want to fine tune using the profiles, what am I doing wrong?
