Moab Support Forum > Issues with dark gradient on Moab Entrada Bright 190

Hi,

I am printing images with a black background and flare lights. The gradients are not smooth, creating a distinct curved break.
I'm printing on an Epson 3880, Photoshop CC with the correct profile, color management off, 2880 dpi.
Is there something I am missing?

Gradients are generally effected by rendering intent and bit depth. Test print using Relative Colormetric and Perceptual rendering, and if your source file is 16-bit try enabling 16-bit printing in the Print Settings (and make sure your application is sending 16-bit data).
