Can someone explain why there is such a big difference in color and contrast when I use the Juniper Baryta Rag profile? I did some test prints on the Juniper and Lasel (matt and luster) papers. First all three papers with their own profile. The results were both Lasel papers were near identical however the Juniper paper was very much warmer tones and yellows and less contrast.

Then to identify if it was just the paper or the profile I printed the same image on the papers with opposite profiles and the results were the opposite. So the profile is making big changes. I am no expert and I would expect some difference with the Juniper paper but not to that extent.

Any help would be great.

BTW this was all on a canon Pro 1000.

Are you using the recommended media type for each paper when printing? These are listed on the ICC download page:

Juniper Baryta- Photo Paper Pro Platinum
Lasal Exhibition Luster- Photo Paper Pro Luster
Lasal Dual Semigloss- Photo Paper Plus Semigloss

I will run some tests and verify the profiles.

Arr you are correct. My bad. I still had it in a matte paper media type. When testing on the pro platinum media type, problem solved.
