"All my portfolios are printed on Entrada. It's necessary that each print stands alone as a piece of art, and it's because of Entrada's weight and feel that my portfolio stands out from the rest."
We have a couple recommendations for framing, not sure what you’ve tried so far.
First, after letting the print off-gas, or when it arrives at the framers, We’d recommend back-rolling the paper to remove any residual curl from the roll.
For framing, is there a reason your frame shop is not taping the entire width of the print, top and bottom, to a backing board before matting? This should eliminate any rippling along the edges.
Also, the print could be vacuum-mounted to a backing board before matting. We’ve worked with a couple frame shops that use a vacuum press to adhere the print with adhesive to the backing board, which gives you a flat, fully attached print. The print can’t be removed from the backing board, but we assume these are for display & sale so you wouldn’t be disassembling them at a later time.

Is there a way to mount your Slickrock Metallic paper so that it lies perfectly flat in a frame (i.e., like dry-mounting)?
