I'm looking for a 60" cotton paper for a mixed media project. It should be at least 250 gsm and be able to support water soluble inks, charcoal and pastel. I am looking into Somerset, but it's not clear if it will respond to water. Any idea?

Can you explain a bit more about the water soluble inks you'll be using? I assume you will be starting with an inkjet printed image and then embellishing with charcoal and pastel? Most of these inkjet papers will not take a heavy wash of color as they are not sized as a true watercolor paper is. But fill us in a bit on what you'd like to do and we can advise you from there.

I use Dr. Martin inks, watered down to create washes. I do not use an inkjet printer. I currently use Rives BFK 42" roll, but would like to create on a larger scale without cobbling together the paper. My website is www.jmbrandon.com if it helps.

Thanks for clarifying. I asked about inkjet because this website is for our Moab inkjet media. You might want to try the Saunders and Bockingford watercolor papers that are offered in 60" widths. Here is some more information about them:
