Your are correct- we post the two profiles so you have a choice of which feed path to use. For the Entrada 300, often the manual feed is more reliable than the sheet feeder, and communicates an accurate paper thickness to the printer. In addition, sheets smaller than 8x10 cannot be run in the manual feed and require use of the sheet feeder and a non 'fine art' media setting.

I am looking at ICC profiles for the Epson Stylus Photo R2400 printer. There are two profiles for Entrada Rag Bright, one for "fine art" and one for "sheet feed", with different Media Types.
Am I correct in thinking that the "fine art" profile is for loading paper through the manual feed slot, whereas the "sheet feed" profile is for loading through the sheet feeder?
This printer requires that certain Media Types (for instance, Watercolor Radiant White) be loaded through the manual feed slot, I think because they are too thick for the sheet feeder. Since Entrada Rag Bright comes in different thicknesses, I'm wondering if the intention is feed the thicker papers through manual feed but the thinner papers through the sheet feeder. Is that correct, or is there some other reason for having two profiles for this paper?
