"All my portfolios are printed on Entrada. It's necessary that each print stands alone as a piece of art, and it's because of Entrada's weight and feel that my portfolio stands out from the rest."
Vanessa,
Are you seeing scuffs from one set of the rollers, or multiple sets of rollers? If it is just one set, have you checked to make sure they are free-spinning and aren't restricted by any foreign matter? I have run many rolls of Entrada through our PRO-2000, and haven't had any scuffing issues. Because the rollers are past the vacuum platen, I wouldn't expect a change in vac strength or head height to make much of a difference.
Hello, I am printing to the Entrada Natural 290 on a fairly new (purchased in Nov 2016) Canon Pro-4000. I am using the ICC profile from your website, have the paper type set to High Density Fine Art in both the print settings and on the printer. I recently started getting scuff marks in black areas that correspond with the center rollers where the paper come out o f the printer after printing. Setting the transport unit vacuum strength to strong helps but does not eliminate the problem. Changing the various tensions does not affect the scuffing. I have a call into Canon however they suggested that I reach out to you as well in case this was a problem you has some experience with. Please let me know if you have any feedback!
Thanks!
Vanessa
