Moab Support Forum > Big yellow splotches on Moab Entrada

Hello, I am in the process of printing a portfolio using Moab Entrada Rag Bright 300 17x22 for the first time. I am about 10 prints in and i have just noticed that several of them have developed large yellow splotches throughout the print. I was very careful to check the papers before loading and after printing so this issue must have developed after printing when they were set out on a table. I am under a tight deadline to finish this portfolio so i need to know quickly whether this can be remedied somehow or if I must redo the portfolio with another paper. Can someone get back to me?

Sorry that you're experiencing problems. Did the spots appear after printing and if so, how long after you set them on the table? Are they fairly large? Please try to describe the spots in as much detail as possible.

There is nothing in the paper or coating that would cause blotches to automatically appear unless it came into contact with something. Could the table have been cleaned with anything prior to you laying the prints down?

Yes, the spots appeared after printing. These prints were done on Friday I believe and we discovered the spots this afternoon. Maybe spots aren't the best word. It's more of a random kind of hazy discoloration and kind of looks like the paper has been toasted if that makes any sense. The tables used were not cleaned with anything besides a Swiffer and we've been printing in this same environment for years but never seen anything like this issue. Because these were large 17x22 prints i was extremely careful in handling so that i wouldn't waste time or ink, so no, the prints never touched anything else, they weren't even stacked on top of each other. I would be happy to send photos to show the issue better.
