"All my portfolios are printed on Entrada. It's necessary that each print stands alone as a piece of art, and it's because of Entrada's weight and feel that my portfolio stands out from the rest."
Dave,
It sounds like you're having an issue with double-profiling. You are correct to select the Entrada profile in InDesign. In the Epson settings menu, set the color management to 'Epson Color Controls' and in Printer Settings set the color mode to 'Off- No Color Adjustment'. This allows the data from InDesign to be passed to the printer without additional color adjustment.
I'm stymied trying to set up the right profile and print settings to print from InDesign on my Epson 3800. I'm running Entrada Rag Bright 190gsm and Entradalope cards. I've selected the Entrada Bright profile in the InDesign "color management" drop-down menu and the Epson color matching menu, with Color Synch selected, but it prints extremely heavy overall.
I may be doing something wrong in my settings. Can anyone point me to a comprehensive tutorial or suggest something I'm doing wrong? There's plenty about printing from Photoshop, but I've only seen info on InDesign on the Adobe help site.
