Moab Support Forum > Printing on Moab Metalic Pearl

Just purchased this paper and want to know, can I just load it into my Epson Stylus Photo390 and print..probably using the Epson Glossy option..?
Cheers,
Ron.

Ron,
You should see good results on the Slickrock Pearl with your R390, premium glossy is a good place to start, you could also test premium semigloss to see if there is any visible difference in the print.

I am using that for cards of art images w an epson 2000 w that glossy setting and it seems to work...

But not perfectly w the moab slickrock pearl...

Semi gloss lustre setting?

Also w the 5x7 cards when is it offgassed enough /dry to send out postally?

Thanks Guys, Yes, I discovered that the Epson Glossy paper works very well. Don't have any Premium Glossy at this time but am very happy with the Glossy...I'll try the Premium when I buy my next supplies.
Cheers,
Ron.

KG,
The Slickrock papers are instant-dry, but we do recommend waiting 24 hours for the print to off-gas, allowing the carrier fluid in the ink to evaporate before mounting, framing, or mailing.

If you are using the Epson R2000, we have color profiles on our web site for the Slickrock papers, just click on ICC Profiles at the top of this page.
