Moab Support Forum > Which water color paper for inkjet printing

I am interested in printing a photograph that has been converted by a watercolor app. I need to know what kind of watercolor paper will work properly with an HP ink jet printer. The ideal size would be 8 x 10. I am concerned about the porosity of the paper and of inkjet bleed. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

In Moab papers, Somerset would be your closest match. The Entrada Rag is nice, but doesn't have much texture. Other manufacturers may have options, too.

Ted,
For printing, I would suggest the Somerset Enhanced Velvet if you are looking for a paper with texture, or the Entrada Rag Bright or Natural if you want a smoother surface. Watercolor papers are not designed for inkjet printing, and because they lack any coatings, results would be unpredictable. Good luck with your project.
