Moab Support Forum > Where do ICC profiles get stored on Windows 8?

I'm having trouble with using downloaded ICC profiles for my Canon Pixma Pro 1 on my laptop which uses Windows 8. I've had success getting them onto my desktop which uses Windows 7. Specifically, after I've downloaded the profiles, if I click on 'install profile', I don't seem to have those profiles available when printing using Adobe Lightroom CC. What I'm therefore wondering is where would I go in the Windows 8 filing system to locate the files that should have been installed when I click on 'install profile' to find out if they have, in fact, been installed? Also, I seem to be having success when I use Photoshop CC, but not Lightroom. Does anybody have a possible explanation for that? Thanx for any help. .. Ken

Ken, I am wondering if you are looking in the printer driver for the profiles, which won't show up there. Just a hunch. The profiles will only be available in your printing application (Lightroom, Photoshop, etc) and when you click on Printer Settings you will only see the PRO-1 list of available media types. These things are completely separate and we have no way of affecting this list.

If you are seeing them in Photoshop then we do have a separate issue. Are you trying to click in the Lightroom ICC profile list to manually add the profiles?
