Moab Support Forum > Shiney content in Entrada Natural
I've been using the Entrada Natural for years, and I have never seen the artifacts that you are seeing. To be clear, you are using Matte Black on the front surface of the paper? It is a two-sided paper, but I only use the front surface as it comes off the roll. I haven't used the cut sheet, and I normally use the lighter weight, as it rolls through the printer easier than the 300gsm.
Is this phenomenon on cut sheets or roll stock? What printer? What ink?
Very curious.

Hello Jim,
Yes sir, using Matte Black with an Epson 3880 printer with Epson K3 inks. Printed on the front surface. It is occurring on all supplied 300gsm versions of the Entrada Natural in the sample pack(8.5 x11). I am viewing under a 5500K Alzo full spectrum compact fluorescent light.

Jeremy, is there any way you can take a photo of these shiny pieces? We are pulling inventory to look to see if we can see the same thing over here. We haven't been contacted about this issue before, so we are curious as to what you are seeing.

Greetings,
My question concerns the Entrada Natural Rag Product. I am currently doing tests to replace my current paper that has been discontinued. I ordered the Moab sample pack so i could get my hands on the Entrada Natural rag. I like the all around results that i am getting from the paper. I am noticing one characteristic that is throwing me off though. When I do a close eye only inpsection of the printerd paper I notice a "glittery" material in the paper. Is this a usual part of the paper? To Clarify, Im not talking about loose flakes or dust or anything like that, its like an actual mineral or something in the paper itself, scattered all about, and if the print has a good amount of light on it they have a very "glittery" reflection.
Thank you for the time,
Jeremy Baker
