"All my portfolios are printed on Entrada. It's necessary that each print stands alone as a piece of art, and it's because of Entrada's weight and feel that my portfolio stands out from the rest."
Hi David,
From our initial tests the P600 is a fantastic printer. You have a lot of excellent printer choices on the market with both Canon and Epson producing machines with pigment inksets. Your decision will come down to your budget and how many separate inks you want/need. Another criteria that you might need to consider is buying a printer with the ability to print from rolls as it seems your book sheet size is 26"x10".
In regards to the papers you selected, none of these are coated for inkjet. You'll want to look at our Moab family of fine art inkjet papers, which can be found at www.moabpaper.com. To help narrow down the choices have a look at the Entrada Rag Natural 190. This is a 100% cotton double sided paper that's 190gsm.
Inkjet papers have unique sheet and roll formats that differ from the standard printmaking and book sizes. You'll notice the inkjet sheets range from 5"x7" up to 17" x 22" and 13", 17", 24" and 44" in rolls for Entrada.

Hi,
I'm getting started with a music printing project (both sides - B&W), short runs (6-12 copies) that must be super long lasting and highly durable. My research indicates that pigment ink using a high-end ink jet is my best possible choice. Will the Epson ShureColor P600 do the job, or is it over kill?
Next is the paper, and I'd like to consider Revere Book 120 gsm Ivory, or Somerset Book 115 gsm radiant white. Printing will be in booklet format, 26 wide, 10 high, ~15 total pages. Not sure about the grain regarding the center fold. Stainless steel stapled binding, reinforced soft covered. I have the same question as the printer, is this paper over kill for durable archival printing with this project?
Thanks so much for any guidance you can offer.
David
