Moab Support Forum > ICC profiles and...?

I've downloaded the ICC profile for each of the types of paper I want to use in my printer (Epson R2000). Sure enough, when I want to pick a color setting, the paper type comes right up in the pulldown menu. BUT - when I go to select the type of paper I'm going to use, it doesn't show up - I just pick the one that sounds the closest. Is there anything else that I need to set up on my Mac that allows it to show the specific type in the *paper* settings? -- Jeff

Jeff, this is an excellent question. The Media Type list in the printer driver cannot be modified at all, so all 3rd party paper companies have to used existing media types. All of our recommended media types can be found next to each and every ICC profile download link on this web site. The Media Type tells the printer how much ink to put down onto the paper, as well as which black ink to use. You can find all of the ICC profiles and related Media Type recommendations here:
