Moab Support Forum > Epson 2400 with 11 x 17 scored paper

Very frustrated right now as NOTHING will make this 11 x 17 scored paper print correctly to my Epson R2400. I'm using InDesign, my pages are sized at 11 x 17.75 and I made a custom size for that. When the page prints, it does not align properly in any combination of orientation and doesn't even print the full image when it does print - stops after about 3/4. I have contacted Epson and have been informed that the holes are likely "confusing' my printer, so I've been feeding the paper so that they would be last.
Anybody have advice.... PLEASE. I am losing my patience with trying to print to this paper.

Jayna,
Sorry for the frustration. Here are a two suggestions:

- Keep your page sized to 11x17. As long as you feed it into the printer with the holes last, the printer will ignore the last 1" of the sheet, and treat the paper as a standard 11x17 sheet.

- Make sure your page orientation in InDesign matches the page orientation in the print driver. If they are not matched up this will also cause the image to print partially on the sheet.

- If you have some standard 11x17 paper, I suggest using it for testing alignment before you print on the book pages.

Hope this helps,
Evan
