Moab Support Forum > cant find moab color profile when i go to print using windows 8

Using windows 8 buti loaded the moab color profile per windows 7 instructions...sys32\spool\drivers\color but when i open my Epson 4880 the Moab metalic pearl is not showing up. what else do i need to load?

I would suggest downloading the color profile again. Once it has saved, right-click on the saved file and select 'install profile' from the menu. You will need to quit and re-launch Photoshop for the newly installed profile to show up in the list.

That is exactly what I did but when I entered "install profile" nothing happens. when i open my printer Epson 4880 I see plenty of paper choices but no Moab paper. Probably something simple but I may need to get tech help. I did load the profiles last year on my windows 7 computer but when I took it in for a virus removal I lost all my printer drivers on that computer.

It sounds like you are looking at paper types, not color profiles. The printer company programs the paper type selections into the printer driver, and they cannot be changed. Below each profile on our download pages we have a suggested paper type to choose when printing. For example: When printing with your 4880, if you were using Moab Somerset Museum Rag, you would select Velvet Fine Art as your paper type, and then in color management choose the Moab Somerset Museum Rag color profile. The color profile is selected in the 'color management' tab of the print window.
