Moab Support Forum > ICC Somerset Museum Rag 300 With Epson R3000

I ran into a conflict when using the Moab Somerset ICC profile and the Epson R3000, printing through PS CC. Your web site recommends MK black when using Somerset and the Epson R3000. I get an error message that the printer is set to a different black then the profile and will not allow printing. If I change the printer to PK black it will print. Any ideas on what is going on, and what black I should be using?

Steve-

The ICC profile in your printing application only works with color management, and the media type in the printer driver controls which black ink to use, how much ink is laid down onto the paper.

Are you using our suggested media type in the printer driver? All of our suggested media types are found right next to each ICC profile download link (right underneath the link).

Please let me know if you have any additional questions. We are here to help.
