Moab Support Forum > icc profile for Moenkopi Unryu on an Epson r3000

Hi
When I use the Unryo icc profile the colors shift to that of a Peter Max painting. I do not have this problem with the Kozo, nor did I have this problem when I used my old R1900. Any suggestion would be helpful. Also do you recomend perceptual or relative colormetric?

It sounds like you have a color management conflict somewhere in your print settings. If you select the print profile, but do not have all other printer color management turned off, you will get over-saturated and surreal colors. I would suggest double-checking all your color management settings and making another print.

As for rendering intent, I always suggest starting with Relative Colormetric, as it will be the most similar to your screen. Once you are achieving consistent results, you can experiment with Perceptual and the other options.

My color management is fine, when I print on Canson BFK or Baryta Photographique or even the Kozo paper, I have a finished print that is the same as I see on the monitor. In photoshop when I switch the proof view to the Unryo profile it shifts to the wild colors. When I use the Kozo profile I get acceptable prints but not quite there.

Soft-proofing in Photoshop CS6 I am not able to re-create your issue. Email me with your contact info evan [at] legionpaper [dot] com and we should be able to get this figured out.
