Moab Support Forum > Icc Profile for Somerset Enhanced Velvet not working

Hey There,
I'm attempting to print from photoshop CS4 to an Epson Stylus Photo 1400 on Somerset Enhanced Velvet 225. I've downloaded the appropriate icc profile from the moab website and installed it in library>colorsync>profiles as instructed. However, every time I go to print, the job gets sent to the printer and shows up for a moment or two in the print dialog box, but then disappears, printing nothing.

I attempted printing different files, but to no avail. The printer prints from other applications, and I can even print this same file if I choose a different paper profile. I'm thinking I might have a corrupt version of the profile? I've removed and reinstalled it multiple times, but it still won't print. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Have you checked to see if you have the most recent driver for the 1400 from Epson? Sometimes conflicts can occur between different software versions.

You could also try moving the profile to your user folder and see if that makes a difference. Once you move it you will need to quit and relaunch CS4 for the change to be picked up by photoshop.
