Moab Support Forum > What type of picture do you print on Slickrock Silver?
Tman, our Slickrock Metallic Silver is more 'silver' and metallic-looking than our Slickrock Metallic Pearl paper, and what actually is printed on these papers is all over the board. You are correct that a metallic finish will be dependent on good, quality and abundant lighting. I anticipate the paper will be popular for B&W imagery, but color photographs will also work well. It just depends on your vision and what you can see doing with the unique paper.

I have a box of slickrock metallic silver. I am printing from an Epson 9900, and I do not have a specific profile for my printer, and your paper. Where can I find one? Can I use another profile with my combination of printer and the slickrock metallic paper?

We are creating the ICC profile today, as we were dependent on somebody to print off the targets for us. I will post back here when it is online.

Our Epson 9900 profile is now online for Slickrock Metallic Silver as of this morning.

i bougth a roll paper of slickrock metallic silver.I do not have a specific profile for my printer, and your paper, my printer is an epson 7880

I really like the Pearl, I can print BW and color and both look great.
but the silver.. is just weird.. its so grey/silver that anything I print looks very muted/dark/dull. If you shine a spot on it or very direct light, it reflects well, but in ambient light, its very flat.. I tried both BW and color. Still not sure what to print on this media?
