Are you getting any specific error? Does the printer take the canvas in at all, or does the printer or printer driver give you feedback before the canvas is fed?

No error. It just wont feed the thicker paper. It feeds thinner paper fine.

One trick is to tap a thin sheet of paper to the back of the canvas, with only a small amount of the thin paper showing on the leading edge. This allows the printer to grab onto the thinner paper, pulling the canvas through the printer. Some printers do better than others with thicker/heavier media, and this is a common approach to solve the issue.
