Moab Support Forum > Type of ink to use with the entrada rag bright double side

Hi,

I own a Epson R3000. I have well noted the type of media I need to select but what about the black ink ? mat or bright one ? do we need to use the same black ink for both side ?
A another question. Is it best to do two different ICC profiles, depending on which side we print ?

Thanks for your answer

Emmanuel-

Thank you for contacting Moab by Legion Paper support. We appreciate your business and the opportunity to serve you, our customer.

The short answer is that matte papers *always* require the matte black ink, and any paper with a sheen or gloss to it will use the photo black ink. There is a long explanation why, but that is the short answer, and how we have made our ICC profiles to work with the papers.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions. We are here to help.
