Moab Support Forum > Any plans for 17 x 25.5 paper?
I'd like a 17 x 25 also .. perfect of 35mm images .. I feel like a lot of photographers would want it.

I have broached this issue with a couple of paper companies whose papers I use - most notably Moab and Canson Infinity. They all seem to agree that the size is needed but, so far, nothing has happened. The first one to get off their duff and produce 17x25 sheets will grab the market, I believe. In the meantime there is 17x25 available from Red River Paper and Harmon makes a 17x25 Baryta. I use a 3800 by the way. Hope this doesn't get dumped for mentioned other brands.

Hi guys - thanks for the suggestions. We actually made Kayenta Photo Matte in 17x25 a few years back and we just sold the last box a few weeks ago. We thought it was a great idea, mostly for the reasons you mentioned, but we hardly sold any.
How about this - we can pick a paper and make some "pro" boxes of 100 sheets in 17x25 and see what happens. Entrada Bright 300 sound good? Let me know and we'll throw it up on the site in January.
Thanks for the feedback. What else would you like to see?

That sounds great Josh! Thanks for the prompt response!

As a long time customer of Moab papers, I would very much like to see 17x25 size sheets of ALL of your products. 17 wide printers are really the sweet spot for many photographers. Limiting the cut sheet size to 22 has always been a problem. Please keep us posted on moving forward with this much needed size.

You got it. We'll start with the Entrada Bright and Natural 300 and take it from there. We'd love to add the size in addition to (or in place of) 17x22 if there's a market for it. I'm guessing 4-6 weeks or so and we'll have some available.
Also - we can make custom sizes of pretty much everything. Minimums are usually 250 or 500 sheets. Seems to be an inadvertently well-kept secret.

Any objections to putting these in boxes of 50? It'll make the cost per sheet better, but 50 large sheets at a time can get pricey.

Entrada Bright would be perfect, as would Colorado Glossy in 17 x 25. I am planning a B&W portfolio (to be printed on the Colorado paper) but had anticipated printing 14 x 21 on 17 x 22 paper; 16 x 24 on 17 x 25 paper would be attractive.

Better late than never. We brought in some trial quantities of Entrada Bright 300 17x25. We'll have limited quantities available next week and we'll make it a production item later this spring.

Is the Entrada Rag Natural 300 far behind in the 17x25 size?

The Entrada Rag Natural 300 is now available in the 17x25 format.

Any chance you can add the Somerset Museum Rag to your collection of 17x25 sheets?

I am interested in the natural 17x25 but buying a 50 pack is quite a lot at the moment. I got the roll and have been making cut sheets off that. It is unfortunate that it is only available in 50 packs. I would assume your 17x22 is available in 20 or 25 packs so why not 17x25?

Thank you for contacting the Moab forum. At this time, we are only offering 17x22 sized sheets packed in 25's. If you would like a sample of a certain sheet before you commit to a full box, we would be more than happy to do that!
Have a great day!!!

I am very happy with the Entrada Rag, but most of my prints would be in the 11x17 range so buying a big pack of 17x25 for an occasional print isn't going to happen right now. Thanks for the reply!

I'm thinking about picking up an Epson 3880 printer. I currently use a 2880 and love your 13 x 19 paper. Why have you not produced precut 2 x 3 ratio paper, and do you plan on doing so in the future? Most camera sensors are 2 x 3, so printing on a 17 x 22 sheet ends up wasting a lot of space on the print. I'm not looking to use a roll of paper either; that's just too time consuming.
