Moab Support Forum > Epson R3000 Entrada Rag Natural 190 Media Type

The profile link for Epson 3000 Entrada Rag Natural specifies a media type of "Hot Press Natural" but that media type is not presented as an option in the printer driver. What media type should I use? Thank you.

Phil, for some reason it shows up in my printer driver and not others. I am not sure what is going on. I printed off a test image a moment ago, and Watercolor Radiant White is dead on, so please use this going forward.

The profile link for Epson R3000 and Entrada Rag Natural now specifies Watercolor Radiant White.

Media settings Hot Press Natural and Watercolor Radiant White both show now that I downloaded the newest R3000 driver and use front load instead of sheet feed.

Is either media setting preferred over the other for any reason?

Thanks...

Hi Jon, There seemed to have been an issue with some people not having the Hot Press Natural option, so we changed the media type to Watercolor Radiant White. We profiled against the Hot Press, but we found the Watercolor media type to be a perfect equivalent. So, in short, use either one! Thank you. Marc

I'm having the same issue, only watercolor is not available to choose either. Any suggestions?

All fine art media types will show up when you select the manual paper path. Epson wants all users (and forces all users) to use the manual paper path with the fine art media types.

Thanks Andy, works a treat.

For Lightroom I've updated all the 'fine art' paper presets to specify the front sheet feed of the R3000 and the media types all became available to select.
