"All my portfolios are printed on Entrada. It's necessary that each print stands alone as a piece of art, and it's because of Entrada's weight and feel that my portfolio stands out from the rest."
Yes, technically you can use the photo black ink on matte papers, however you will likely not be pleased with the results. The photo black inkset has more drying agent, and thus less pigment for matte papers. Additionally, no ICC profiles have been developed, so you will be responsible for creating custom profiles for your environment. The matte black inkset will produce much deeper blacks on matte papers, and I think you will be much more pleased with this approach.
Hi I was just wondering if I can use Epson K3 photo black ink on your matte papers. What would be the effect and would it be very difficult in comparison to using the matte ink ? Any extra information would also be extremely helpful.
