"All my portfolios are printed on Entrada. It's necessary that each print stands alone as a piece of art, and it's because of Entrada's weight and feel that my portfolio stands out from the rest."
Excellent question. The Epson 3880 is a wonderful printer, and the front media tray is the one you will want to use for feeding canvas. This front paper path goes straight through the printer, and the path is intended for canvas and other thick or heavy media.
You may need to use a piece of lightweight cardboard to help load the canvas into the printer, similar to how a cook puts in a pizza into a hot oven with a wooden tool. The bottom of the inside of the printer may grab and hook onto the canvas if you don't take this approach, so you have to try something additional to help feed it into the printer.
I hope this helps!
Thanks Andy - I was having the same problem, but the pizza analogy solved it for me!
i had a 3880-took it back and got another one-it prints on canvas in the rear-have to try to install the canvas serve-al time but i get it to work
I have been unable to get the Anasazi canvas to feed into my epson 3880. I have tried all 3 feed options the front, auto rear and the rear manual. I believe the rear manual is where it should go but tried for a long time with no success. I even tried putting my fingers way down on the paper when feeding into the rear but it would not catch it and take and then gives me a paper feed error. I would appreciate any clue how I can use this paper!
