Moab Support Forum > Printing Problem with Indesign CS5

Using the Moab Kayenta Matte Epson 3800.icc profile, I get a perfect print directly out of Photoshop CS5. However, when I then place the same picture in an Indesign CS5 document and use the same profile to print, the results are always lighter and more saturated. Have you got a solution to this problem, please? I work on an Apple Intel Quad, Snow Leopard, CS5, all updated to the latest versions. Thank you.

Gerhard-

Thank you for contacting Moab by Legion Paper support. We appreciate your business and the opportunity to serve you, our customer.

There is additional functionality in Photoshop that will yield a better print, for sure. You have rendering intent options, as well as black point compensation, and these all add up to a material print quality difference. It is our experience that better prints will come out of Photoshop. You can always save your Indesign documents as PDF files and open them up for printing in Photoshop.
